Purpose
Map LunaNet FR/NFR requirements to modules, tests, evidence, and ownership so every mandatory criterion can be demonstrated with reproducible proof.
Requirement Families
- FR-1 Code generation (Gold, Weil primary, secondary, tertiary, tiered coherence)
- FR-2 Message encoding (BCH, LDPC, CRC, interleaving, frame assembly)
- FR-3 Signal generation (AFS-I/AFS-Q rates, BPSK mapping, I/Q formats)
- FR-4 Message decoding (sync detection, soft-decision BCH, LDPC BP, CRC, deinterleaving)

Traceability Method
- Assign requirement IDs to implementation modules.
- Attach unit and integration test IDs.
- Define exact pass/fail threshold per requirement.
- Store artifacts under predictable paths.
- Gate completion on evidence review.
Why this method:
- LunaNet includes algorithm-heavy components where correctness is not visually obvious.
- Traceability avoids silent divergence from Annex/reference data.
