CCSDS 235.1 Competition Planning Pack
This folder contains an execution-ready planning set based on the official deliverables document.
Documents
Team Assumptions
- Team size: 6
- Roles: 3 engineers + 3 developers
- Objective: maximize score (100/100 target), while maintaining deterministic protocol behavior suitable for mission-grade reliability.
Why This Planning Structure
- The document order mirrors execution order so dependencies are handled before integration pressure begins.
Program-Execution-Plan.md defines governance first because team coordination failures are one of the most common causes of late-stage defects.
Phase-1 to Phase-4 files are separated to make gateway ownership and acceptance criteria explicit, reducing scope ambiguity.
IDA-Blueprint-Pack.md and docs/ida/* exist as a parallel documentation track so architecture evidence grows with implementation, not after it.
How To Use This Pack
- Review
Program-Execution-Plan.md and assign real names to role placeholders.
- Use each phase file as the sprint and gateway control plan.
- Use
IDA-Blueprint-Pack.md to produce architecture artifacts and review them at each gateway.
- Track progress weekly against gateway validation checklists and scoring categories.
Usage Rationale
- Start with role assignment before coding so accountability for correctness and verification is unambiguous.
- Run phase plans as living checklists because competition scoring rewards complete evidence, not only implemented code.
- Update IDA documents weekly to prevent documentation debt from accumulating into Phase 4.
